    Previously I made steamed egg using chicken stock. My mum informed me that I could replace it using soy milk. It will be a children favorite! Indeed, the taste is slightly sweet and has a tinge of soy milk smell and taste. And also I read from somewhere a better way of measuring the required amount of milk/stock to make the egg smooth and soft

    I am trying to think of ways to cook the pork loin leftover in my fridge. Then I thought of making the lemongrass pork loin. I had made lemongrass pork chop before and my mum loves it! So now I tried to make the same taste again, based on my memory.

    My boy simply loves tau hway. Because it is soft and easy to eat, so it makes a very good snack. The ones that hawker sold is usually mixed with gypsum power (石膏粉 ), which is not good for young children. So I decided to make the tau hway myself. A super shortcut method to make this pudding.. And it took me less than 10 minutes to cook

    My first attempt to do the char siew. I do not suggest to cook this unless you are free to do so during weekend. This dish will take around 45 mins to cook. But I do enjoy cooking this as my hubby likes it. Guess it pays off.. 🙂

    I always like the ginger sauce taste. And I happened to have cod fish steak, so I decided to cook this for dinner. It may take a bit more time to prepare and cook. But there is a short cut way to do this dish too. Toddler can also eat this dish, just that you need to omit the hua diao wine.
