    I always bought excess vegetable and ended up we have to eat excess or we have to throw away the rotting vegetable. So now I think of a very good way to preserve my vegetable. An appetizing way to eat vegetables too.

    I have quite a bit of water chestnut and apples left in my fridge and wonder what I should do with them. Then I thought of this soup. Referencing from other sources, I modify slightly. water chestnut is a cooling food and is definitely suitable to drink in such a hot weather in Singapore now. Suitable for toddler as well and my boy kinda of likes it. But try not to give too much cooling food for toddler too. Just give him a few sips will do.

  3. Winter Melon Barley Drink

    This drink is suitable for both adults and toddler. Most of the time, toddler is not able to take too “cooling” food like the adult. Hence when they are “heaty”, the only “cooling” food they can take will be such a drink. I made it for daddy but I let my boy drink it too, as he shows signs of heatiness

    A super simple way of whipping up a dinner after work. just need to throw all the ingredients into the rice cooker and viola!
